Symptom(s):
- Newer drivers are available on a third-party Web sites.
- Drivers on the Intel Web site are older than drivers available elsewhere.
Solution:
Intel tests all drivers manufactured by Intel before posting them on the Download Center. In most cases, it is not practical to test all third-party drivers for all desktop boards. For this reason, third-party application vendors can release drivers that have not been tested by Intel. These drivers might be available on the third-party vendor Web sites, but not on the Intel Download Center, which means that Intel has not validated them.
