- If DVI monitor used, before installing, enter the following boot option: Linux xdriver=vesa.
- Error when recording audio. Workaround: terminate pulseaudio process by executing command ' killall pulseaudio ' in the terminal window.
- Disable network in BIOS.
- Enable network in BIOS and install LAN driver. Download driver file realtek-r8169-kmp-smp-8.008.00_2.6.16.60_0.21-0.i586.rpm*.
- Error when recording audio "arecord: pcm_read:1489: read input/output error". Workaround: remove pulseaudio by executing command ' yum remove pulseaudio ' in the terminal window.

Desktop boards - Linux support resources
Intel offers basic information on installing a few Linux distributions, such as Redhat*, SuSE* and Ubuntu on Intel desktop boards. Information on the Web is based on the results of operating system installation with default settings and simple workarounds for installation issues. Not every available subsystem or software application was tested.
