The onboard Front Panel Select (FPSel) jumper allows for the selection of either High Definition (HD) audio or AC'97 audio to a front panel audio solution.
By default, the jumper is set for HD Audio front panel operation, as shown in the following image:
For AC'97 mode, position the jumper across the header, as shown in the following image:
