Why does my Intel® Desktop Board D850MV have an SE on the end?

The "SE" designation in the product code of your Intel® Desktop Board D850MVSE denotes USB 2.0 capability. Other members of this product family such as the Intel® Desktop Board D850MV and Intel® Desktop Board D850MVL provide USB 1.1 support only.

There are a total of 5 USB 2.0 ports available on the Intel® Desktop Board D850MVSE, they include:

(2) Ports from the rear I/O panel
(2) Ports from the front USB header
(1) Port from through the CNR (Communication Network Riser) connector

USB 2.0 ports are backwards compatible and will continue to support your USB 1.1 peripherals.
