LANDesk* Network Manager
System Requirements

Before installing Network Manager, make sure you have the following hardware and software components working. These are not included with Network Manager and must be purchased separately.

  • IBM-compatible PC, based on an Intel486™ processor or faster, with at least 8 MB memory.

  • Hard disk drive with at least 50 MB free space.

  • CD-ROM drive.

  • VGA or better color adapter and monitor; screen resolution of 800 x 600 or higher is recommended,but not required.

  • Microsoft Windows 95*, Windows NT*, Windows 3.1, or Windows for Workgroups 3.11.

  • Windows Sockets-compliant TCP/IP stack with WINSOCK.

  • Network adapter. Refer to your TCP/IP stack software documentation for a list of supported network cards.

  • SNMP agent software for each node to be managed.
