Symptom(s):
Some computers continuously restart when camera is connected.
Some computers display a blue screen when camera is connected. The blue screen displays STOP 0x7E at USBHUB.SYS error: "A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage ..."
Solution:
The following steps have been reported by customers to resolve these symptoms:
- Apply all updates or patches that are available from your computer manufacturer for the USB controller and motherboard chipset in this computer.
- From the Windows* taskbar, click on Start » All Programs » Windows Update. Apply any updates or patches that are available for Windows* XP from Microsoft.
