Why are the Intel® InBusiness Hubs and Switches being discontinued?
Intel continually reviews its product offerings to ensure a smart fit with overall strategic goals and priorities. As a commitment to this goal, Intel has decided to discontinue research and development in InBusiness Hubs and Switches.
How long will Intel provide support for the Intel® InBusiness Hubs and Switches?
Free technical troubleshooting information will continue via our online services through March 4, 2005. Interactive Support via Intel's technicians will continue through June 30, 2002 and will be evaluated at that time to extend it further.
What if I have problems with my Intel® InBusiness Hub or Switch and need an RMA. Will you still honor the warranty?
The Intel® InBusiness Hubs and Switches have a Limited Lifetime Warranty which Intel will continue to honor. Intel will honor this warranty for the original owner with proof of purchase. The power supply and fan have a one year warranty. Hubs or switches returned with only a defective power supply or fan will be returned and no replacement will be issued. Since Intel will no longer offer the Intel® InBusiness Hubs and Switches, are you recommending a different product(s)?
Intel will not be creating a new generation of Hubs and Switches to replace the InBusiness product line. However, there are other vendors who sell similar products. Ask your local reseller for a recommendation.
