This checklist is designed for Mail Delivery Method A (Retrieving
your mail with Simple Mail Transfer Protocol(SMTP)) and should be
used in conjunction with your local Internet Service provider. We
suggest that you review this document with them prior to establishing
your email services.
Listed below are the guidelines/requirements that your email service
will require when you are working with Mail Delivery Method A and
the Intel® InBusiness™ eMail Station. We suggest reviewing this with
your Internet Service Provider while establishing your new services.
- ETRN support
- Registered Domain Name
- Master Email Account
- SMTP mail server
- Mail Exchange record
- Assigned IP address (may be optional)
- Assigned ISP DNS server address (may be optional if it can be
dynamically obtained)
