Solution: There are several errors that can cause this message. Follow these steps to troubleshoot the problem:
- Double-click My Computer, Control Panel, and then System.
- Click the Device Manager tab and open the Network Adapters item.

- Double-click with the right mouse button on the Network Neighborhood.
- Select Properties. Check for 'File and Print sharing'.

- Select or highlight Service
- Select Add.
- Select 'File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks'.
You may be prompted for your Windows CD. Put it into your CD-ROM drive and type the path to the Windows setup files (for example, D:\WIN95). If you don't have a Windows CD, the files may be on your hard drive at C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS.
