What do the Operating System numbers correspond to?
The numbers in the chart’s Supported Operating System column corresponds to the following operating systems:

1 - Windows* 95/98
2 - Windows* 98SE
3 - Windows* Me
4 - Windows NT* 4.0 Workstation
5 - Windows* 2000/XP Professional/Home
6 - Windows* XP Media Center Edition (not supported on 82815, 82830, 82852 or 82855)

Why is my build number not listed?
You may be using a custom version of the driver or have a newer Intel graphics controller or chipset.

The build numbers in the chart above are only representative of drivers posted on the Intel website. Various computer manufacturers release their own custom versions of the driver. Custom drivers often have custom build numbers that may not appear in the chart. For example, build 2712 would be a custom version of the PV 6.1 driver.
