The rotation feature of Intel graphics drivers allow the user to rotate a monitor or display's entire image to one of four orientations when enabled. The image can be rotated 90°, 180°, 270°, and 0° (Normal).

The rotation feature may not be available if this feature is disabled by the computer manufacturer. | | The steps below demonstrate how to use rotation feature. Start by selecting the version of the Intel® Graphics Control Panel currently configured on your system.
Intel® HD Graphics Control Panel Intel® Graphics and Media Control Panel Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver or use the Hot Key Method
Intel® HD Graphics Control Panel
- Press Ctrl + Alt + F12 to open the Intel® Graphics Control Panel
- Select Display
- Change the Rotation to either 0, 90, 180 or 270
- Select Apply

Intel® Graphics and Media Control Panel
- Press Ctrl + Alt + F12 to open the Intel® Graphics Control Panel
- Navigate to the Display > General Settings tab
- Select the desired level of rotation from the Rotation drop-down
- Select Apply > OK

Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver
- Press Ctrl + Alt + F12 to open the Intel® Graphics Control Panel
- Navigate to the Display Settings Tab
- Check the box for Enable Rotation
- Select the appropriate Radio button for the desired level of rotation
- Select Apply > OK

Hotkey Method: All versions of the Intel® Graphics Control Panel support Hot Keys. These keys, when pressed, have the ability to automatically rotate your screen without having to go into the Intel® Graphics Control Panel. By default, the hot keys for rotation are as follows:
- 0 degrees (normal/upright): Ctrl + Alt + Up Arrow
- 90 degrees (quarter turn clockwise): Ctrl + Alt + Right Arrow
- 180 degrees (upside down): Ctrl + Alt + Down Arrow
- 270 degrees (quarter turn counter-clockwise): Ctrl + Alt + Left Arrow
