Armed and Dangerous* game displays an error and exits to the desktop when the desktop icon is used to launch the game.
Error: "There is no 3D hardware installed in your system. Please see the Troubleshooting Guide for a list of supported 3D hardware."

Solution: The following steps can be used to eliminate or minimize the issue(s) reported with the game:
Do not use the desktop shortcut to launch the game. Instead, open Explorer and go to the game directory (e.g. C:\). In the subdirectory "\GameData" there is an executable file, "game.exe." Launching this file will allow the game to play.
Additionally, if your system has 256MB of system memory, the memory used as video memory will cause your system memory to be reported as <256MB; this game might warn that you do not have enough memory. The game will still play despite this warning.
