The version of Microsoft* DirectX* used is critical in determining application/game compatibility requirements, and whether or not your system meets them. Compare your installed version of DirectX* with those required of your software to determine whether your system is able to run it or not. In order to determine what version of DirectX* you are running, follow these steps:
- Click on the Start menu, then click Run.
- Type dxdiag and click OK.
- The DirectX* version will be listed in the System Information section of the DirectX Diagnostic Tool (dxdiag).
