Graphics driver crash during resume from standby or hibernate mode

Symptom:

After installing Service Pack 1 for the Microsoft* Windows Vista* operating system, a user may encounter a blank screen, reboot, or crash during resume process of their computer from Standby (S3), Hibernate (S4), or Hybrid-Sleep mode.

Solution:

Use the latest version of the Intel® graphics driver to correct this issue. Refer to the Intel graphics driver README file for driver installation instructions as needed.
