Full Screen Command Prompt or DOS Application will not Display on Flat Panel

Symptom(s):
Full screen command prompt (cmd.exe) or DOS application will not display on Flat Panel (LCD display).
Screen goes black with message: "Cannot display this video mode"
Monitor displays error: "Out of sync range"

Solution:
Use the latest Intel(R) graphics driver and latest system BIOS to correct this issue. Both must be updated to fully resolve this issue. The system BIOS must include a recent (PV 12.1 or later) Video BIOS in order to fully resolve the issue.

If the system manufacturer does not have a recent Video BIOS included in the system BIOS, then another workaround for this issue is to revert to the PV 11.4.1 (or earlier) graphics driver.
