Symptom(s):
- Limited resolutions and color depth selections available after installing the graphics driver
- System does not allow power saving functionality to be invoked
Cause:
This graphics driver has not completely loaded all of the necessary modules. The default VGA is driving the display.
Solution:
The driver and subsequent modules must completely load prior to a reboot. A secondary reboot may be needed to complete the process.
