Symptom(s): Unable to use 1600x900 or 1280x960 wide screen resolutions on a CRT monitor that supports those modes
Cause: The manufacturer of the laptop may have disabled the video modes in the BIOS. The chipset supports those modes, but the manufacturer has chosen not to support them.

Solution: This is expected behavior for laptops that have video modes disabled in the BIOS. Check with the laptop manufacturer for further information regarding their supported video modes.
Note: The system BIOS is vendor-specific. You must contact your laptop vendor and/or manufacturer to obtain a system BIOS update specifically for your system.
