Symptom(s): DirectX* Diagnostic Tool shows that display drivers are not certified.
Cause: Microsoft no longer requires that drivers be DirectX* certified (or "Stamped"). Microsoft now suggests that graphics drivers go through WHQL (Windows* Hardware Quality Labs) certification, which includes many DirectX-specific tests. In order to save time and deliver graphics drivers to our customers faster, we are no longer getting the graphics drivers DirectX stamped. This is why some versions of the DirectX Diagnostic Tool (DXDiag.exe) show that the drivers are not DirectX certified.
Solution:
All versions of the Intel® 82810 and 82815 graphics controller reference drivers released on our website are WHQL certified.
Download the latest graphics drivers.
