In May 1999, Intel announced that interactive support for the EtherExpress™ 16 LAN adapter family will end at 5:00pm (PST) on June 30, 1999. Telephone, Intel public forum and Internet messaging support will be discontinued at that time. It is expected that Web based self-help support will continue until at least December 2000. The Limited Lifetime Warranty which was included in your product purchase, will continue to be honored. What if I have problems with my EtherExpress™ 16 LAN Adapter and need an RMA. Will you still honor the warranty?
The EtherExpress™ 16 LAN Adapter has a Limited Lifetime Warranty which Intel will continue to honor. Adapters replaced under the Warranty will be replaced with an equivalent Intel® PRO/10+ ISA adapter or similar product.
What if my EtherExpress™ 16 LAN Adapter fails? How will I obtain a warranty replacement?
Go to the EtherExpress™ 16 RMA form. Print this form, fill it out and follow the directions to fax it to the Intel RMA department.Proof-of-purchase showing that you are the original owner is required.

It is anticipated that Web based self-help support will continue until at least December 2000 and that all the drivers and configuration files will be available for download, and all troubleshooting information will still be available.
How long will Intel provide drivers for the EtherExpress™ 16 LAN Adapter?
Drivers for the EtherExpress™ 16 LAN Adapter are included with Microsoft Windows* 98 and Windows NT* 4.0, as well as Novell NetWare* servers through version 4.11. Intel will not be developing new drivers for this product.
