EtherExpress™ PRO/10 and PRO/10+ ISA adapters
End of interactive support announcement

In July 2002, Intel® announced that interactive support for EtherExpress™ PRO/10 ISA adapters will end at 5:00 p.m. (PST) on August 31, 2002. Interactive support will be discontinued at that time. The Limited Lifetime Warranty that was included in your product purchase will continue to be honored. For instructions on how to obtain a warranty replacement, see the paragraph below titled "What if my EtherExpress™ PRO/10 ISA adapter fails? How will I obtain a warranty replacement?"

This announcement does not affect the PRO/10+ ISA adapter. Please see the PRO/10+ ISA Product Discontinuation Statement for specific information. Interactive support for the PRO/10+ ISA will continue through November of 2003.

Q1. What if I have problems with my EtherExpress™ PRO/10 ISA LAN Adapter and need an RMA. Will you still honor the warranty?
A1.
The EtherExpress™ PRO/10 ISA adapters have a Limited Lifetime Warranty that Intel will continue to honor. Each product will be replaced with an identical or similar product.

Q2. What if my EtherExpress LAN Adapter fails? How will I obtain a warranty replacement?
A2.
Go to the EtherExpress™ PRO/10 ISA LAN Adapters RMA form. Print this form, fill it out and follow the directions to fax it to the Intel RMA department. Proof-of-purchase showing that you are the original owner is required.

Q3. Where can I get assistance on EtherExpress PRO/10 adapters after August 2002?
A3.
It is expected that web-based self-help support will continue through December 2003, and that all the drivers and configuration files will be available for download, and all troubleshooting information will still be available.

Q4. How long will Intel provide drivers for the EtherExpress™ PRO/10 ISA adapters?
A4.
Drivers for the EtherExpress™ PRO/10 adapter are included with Microsoft Windows* 95, Windows* 98, Windows ME, Windows NT* 4.0, and Windows* 2000. A driver for Plug and Play versions only (product codes ending in an A, such as PCLA8200A) is included with Windows XP*. Intel® will not be developing new drivers for these products.
