When you set up Intel® Remote Wake Technology capable programs and services, you may be prompted to use Intel Remote Wake Technology. If you choose not to use Intel Remote Wake Technology during initial setup, you can enable it later.
Not all programs can use Intel Remote Wake Technology. Check your program’s documentation to determine if it supports Intel Remote Wake Technology.
Follow these instructions to set up a program to use Intel Remote Wake Technology:
- Make sure that the Intel Remote Wake Technology enabled program or service that you want to wake your computer is installed.
- From the installed program, enable the Intel Remote Wake Technology option, if available.
- From the Control Panel, turn on Intel Remote Wake Technology: Click Start » Control Panel » Network and Internet.
- Double-click Intel Remote Wake Technology.
- On the General tab, select On, and select the check box to automatically adjust power settings, if necessary.
- Click the Programs tab, and select the check box to allow the program to wake the computer.
- Click OK.
