How do I enable Intel® Turbo Memory?

If your system includes an Intel® Turbo Memory module, follow these steps to enable Intel® Turbo Memory.

Note If Intel® Turbo Memory is not shown in the Start menu, install the Intel® Turbo Memory software package. The installer will enable the necessary features for you.
  1. Click Start > All Programs.
  2. Click Intel® Turbo Memory.
  3. Click Intel® Turbo Memory Console.
  4. Click Continue when the Microsoft Windows* prompt displays: "A program needs your permission to continue. If you started this program, continue."
  5. Select Enable Windows ReadyBoost.1
  6. Select Enable Windows ReadyDrive.2
  7. Reboot the system.

1 If the Intel® Turbo Memory module is 512 MB, only Microsoft Windows ReadyDrive* can be enabled. Microsoft Windows ReadyBoost* is not supported.
