Use the following steps to convert a recovery volume to a RAID 1 volume.

1. Open the Intel® Matrix Storage Manager (Start » All Programs » Intel® Matrix Storage Manager » Intel® Matrix Storage Console).
2. Click Advanced Mode in the View menu.
3. Right-click the recovery volume in the device tree and click Convert to RAID 1 Volume.
   
   
4. Click Next.
5. Modify the volume name if you wish.
6. Click Finish to convert the recovery volume to a RAID 1 volume. When the conversion process is complete, the following tray icon status message will appear.
