In order to obtain RAID support on a mobile platform, the platform must include the following:
- Intel® 82801GHM I/O controller hub (ICH7MDH), Intel® 82801HEM I/O controller hub (ICH8M-E), or Intel® ICH9M-E SATA RAID controller hub
- System BIOS with the Intel® Matrix Storage Manager option ROM
- At least 2 Serial ATA hard drives
- Intel® Matrix Storage Manager
