After upgrading the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology software, the version information displayed during the boot process is incorrect.

This is expected behavior. The version information shown during the boot process is the version for the option ROM, not for the driver and software. An upgrade of the software package does not upgrade the option ROM so the version information displayed during boot should not change.
