Function CIS

The CIS function computes a complex exponent of real vector elements (cosine and sine of real vector elements combined to a complex value).

Performance:

Dual-Core
 Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor 5100 Series
 45nm Intel(R)
Core(TM)2 Duo processor
Intel(R) Itanium(R) 2 processor
single HA 18.94 18.41 111.60
LA 18.90 18.26 111.60
EP 18.90 18.19 111.60
double HA 35.56 34.84 110.26
LA 35.56 34.63 110.26
EP 35.54 34.63 110.26

Notes:
1) Units - CPE (Clocks per Element)
2) Performance was measured on "working" interval (double precision: [
-10000.0, 10000.0] × [-10000, 10000]; single precision: [-10000.0, 10000.0] × [-10000, 10000])
3) Data - vectors of 1000 elements with random generated numbers.
