Selecting the Intel Compiler

To select the Intel® Fortran compiler in the Xcode IDE, do the following:

1. Double-click the target you want to change in the Target group under the Groups & Files list.

2. In the Target Info window, click Rules.

3. To add a new rule, click the + button at the bottom, left-hand corner of the Target Info window. From the new Rule section:

• under Process, choose Fortran source files

• under Using, choose using Intel® Fortran Compiler

Note

If you select a tool that does not support the source file type, that source will be processed by a later rule that specifies that type.
