Intel is pleased to offer a Channel Warranty Replacement Program for certain Intel® Branded Products sold through Intel Authorized Distributors. This program is designed to offer consistent, fast and easy to use warranty replacement support worldwide for Intel's eligible channel members.

Intel's continuous effort to improve the quality of our products and services enables us to offer this warranty replacement program.

This program applies only to eligible channel members. End users should contact their local reseller for warranty support.

How it works

For Warranty Returns Made within 30 days of Purchase
For warranty claims made within 30 days from date of purchase, please contact your Intel Authorized Distributor where you purchased the product.

If the distributor is not able to assist you, please contact Intel directly.

For Warranty Replacement Made After 30 days of Purchase
Intel Channel Membership Program Participants can obtain warranty replacement service either by using the phone number that supports their program or by completing the request form, which can be accessed via their program WEB page.

Technical Troubleshooting
Some product issues may undergo Technical Troubleshooting before a replacement order is set up. In these cases, the customer will be asked to provide details on the problem. The case will then be passed to our Technical Support Center for detailed troubleshooting to determine if the problem can be resolved without having to replace the unit. Customers must provide all of the information requested before any replacement can be sent out.

Standard Warranty Replacement
Channel members as well as non-Channel resellers can call the Intel Customer support phone number to obtain replacement for their Intel products. The defective part must be received by Intel before Intel will ship a replacement unit.

Advanced Warranty Replacement
A special feature of the Channel Warranty Replacement Program is Advanced Warranty Replacement (AWR). AWR allows Intel to immediately ship replacement parts without waiting for the defective parts to be received first by Intel. Replacement parts are stored at supply depots around the world to help reduce in transit times. Channel members that may participate in the AWR program include:

  • IPP - Intel® Premier Providers
  • IPI - Intel Product Integrators
  • GID - Genuine Intel Dealers

Advanced Warranty Replacement is an incremental benefit extended to some of our Channel Membership Program Participants.

The terms and conditions of the AWR program are subject to change. Currently, the maximum allowable units per replacement order made under the AWR program are as follows:

  • For IPP: maximum of six (6) units per order, with a maximum of two (2) processor units at any given time.
  • For IPI & GID: maximum of three (3) units per order, with a maximum of one (1) processor at any given time.

Different limits may apply in some geographies.

Customers should be prepared to provide the following when calling Intel for warranty replacement service:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Name of the product
  • Product code
  • Serial number-Spec + FPO for processors
  • Description of the problem
  • Intel Channel Membership Program participants should have their program name and membership number
  • Shipping address
  • Email address of customer

Important note: The times may vary due to factors such as customs clearance, local shipping conditions and/or availability of replacement parts. The times are estimates only, and are subject to change without prior notice. Intel will not be liable for failure to ship as estimated.
