To keep up with technology-based teaching tools, Mumbai-based G.D. Somani Memorial School has a high-speed IT infrastructure and a fleet of 125 computers that form the backbone of its IT infrastructure for classes, school records management, library management, and PC lab administration. However, the slow performance of older PCs and the constant threat of virus outbreaks made it challenging to manage all the school's PCs simultaneously.

Combining Intel® vPro™ technology and a Managed Service Providers (MSP) solution made it possible for the school to lower support costs and spend less time worrying about manageability issues, leaving more time and resources to focus on education.

"With vPro, we are informed, in control, and updated constantly," says Surendra Rao IT Head for G.D. Somani Memorial School. "Within a week, significant results came in the form of automatic patches and anti-virus updates for all our PCs. We also gained the ability to accurately and speedily inventory both our hardware and software assets on our PCs regardless of OS state or even system power status."
