Capgemini UK plc needed a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) that would enable its development team to quickly provision and repair test environments at the touch of button.

Comparing the performance of the Intel® Xeon® processor 5500 series in a virtualized environment with a previous-generation processor in a physical environment showed Capgemini that it could significantly increase performance with the Xeon processor 5500 series-making it easier to provision new test environments.
