Intel has a strong and growing manufacturing and research and development presence in Hudson, Mass. Intel acquired its Hudson campus in May 1998. Since then, the company has invested approximately $1.5 billion to upgrade its semiconductor plant to the latest Intel-standard manufacturing processes by improving the facilities and purchasing advanced manufacturing tools.
