The Intel® Education Initiative is Intel's sustained commitment to improve teaching and learning through the effective use of technology, and to advance math, science, and engineering education and research. Intel invests approximately USD 100 million per year in education programs in more than 50 countries.

The World Ahead Program  ›
As part of the Intel World Ahead Program, Intel will train an additional 10 million teachers in developing communities by 2011 on the effective use of technology in the classroom. The training will occur through the significant expansion of the Intel® Teach Program.

 
Improving 21st Century Teaching and
Learning
 
Intel® Teach Program A professional development program for teachers, training more than four million teachers on integrating technology in the classroom to enhance 21st century learning.
Intel Computer Clubhouse Network An after-school program that gives thousands of youth in developing communities around the world access to cutting-edge technology in informal settings.
Intel® Learn Program A community-based program in emerging markets designed to help learners (8-16 years) develop 21st century skills.

Intel Higher Education A collaborative, worldwide effort focusing on advancing technology innovation by providing cutting-edge technology expertise, research grants, and entrepreneurship forums.
Intel Science and Engineering Fair Intel International Science and Engineering Fair  World's largest pre-collegiate science fair drew more than 1,500 young scientists from 51 countries, regions and territories to compete for scholarships and awards.
Intel Schools of Distinction This program recognizes K-12 schools in the U.S. that exemplify excellence in science and mathematics programs, serving as role models to other schools across the nation.
Intel Science Talent Search America's oldest and most highly regarded pre-college science competition awarded more than USD 1.25 million in scholarships in 2008.
