David O'Meara is vice president, Software and Solutions Group, and managing director of Intel Corporation's Havok subsidiary. O'Meara is responsible for defining Havok's strategic direction and managing the company to achieve its technical, financial and commercial goals.

Previously, O'Meara was CEO of Commerx, a procurement software and services company. He also served on the senior management team at Sterling Commerce, where he served as group vice president for business development. In Europe, O'Meara was director of business development for Unisource NV (Netherlands) and managing director of PostGEM Ltd (Ireland).

O'Meara received his bachelor's degree in economics in 1975 from Trinity College, Dublin.
