WHAT:

Intel Developer Forum (IDF) is where Intel Corporation and the ecosystem come together to share their latest innovations and vision for the future of technology. Spanning the worlds of mobility, digital home, digital enterprise and technology and research, IDF will focus on Intel’s directions for the next year and beyond.

Vision: IDF brings together top Intel technical experts, Intel Fellows, industry thought leaders and leading technology companies. A strong slate of Intel keynotes is one source for insights and inspiration. Keynoters are:

Day 1 – "Inspiring Innovation" with Craig Barrett, Intel chairman; "IA= Embedded + Dynamic + Visual" with Pat Gelsinger, Intel senior vice president and general manager, Digital Enterprise Group; "Where Will 'On-the-Go' Go?" with David Perlmutter, Intel senior vice president and general manager, Mobility Group.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has been added to the Day 3 speaker lineup. Dr. Moira Gunn of NPR's "Tech Nation" and "BioTech Nation" will have a candid conversation with one of the most influential pioneers of the technology industry.

Exhibition: More than 180 leading companies from around the world will have hands-on demonstrations of their newest innovations and future technologies at the IDF Technology Showcase.

Networking: IDF offers valuable opportunities to speak one-to-one with Intel managers and engineers whose work will impact future technology directions. From the two Intel Fellows Shop Talks to the 29 Chalk Talks, there will be plenty of opportunity to get your technical questions answered by Intel Fellows and Intel and industry experts in an informal setting. The final activity, from 4:30-6:30 on Thursday, is the "Innovation Celebration" party featuring Maker Faire and its eclectic mix of wild and wondrous creations that blend art and science with engineering and craft.

Training: IDF will offer more than 170 hours of job-critical technical training. The information is current, relevant and actionable. Plus, all technical sessions are led by top Intel and industry experts. New this year is an Industry Insights Panel themed "Using Information Technology to Meet 21st Century Challenges and Opportunities."
