Tom Dunlap to Retire After 30-year Career; Bruce Sewell to Assume Post
SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 21, 2004 - Intel Corporation today announced General Counsel and 30-year employee F. Thomas Dunlap will retire at the end of the year and that D. Dunlap, 53, joined Intel in 1974 as a product engineer and has served as the company's chief legal officer since 1983.
"Tom Dunlap's many outstanding contributions to Intel's legal strategy during the past 30 years have had a significant impact on our business and in the protection of Intel's innovations," said Craig Barrett, Intel CEO. "His dedicated and extensive career has been a tremendous asset to the company. Tom is leaving the legal team on a solid footing and the transition to new leadership under Bruce Sewell will be a smooth one."
