What:

In a speech before the 2004 International Consumer Electronics Show on Jan. 8, Intel Corporation President and Chief Operating Officer Paul Otellini will discuss Intel's plans to bring the benefits of Moore's Law to the consumer electronics industry, which will help unify, simplify and provide greater flexibility to the digital home experience. He will share how the PC and CE industries can work together to eliminate the boundaries between devices that both compute and communicate and consumer electronics products designed to entertain.

Intel will also be a show exhibitor. At its booth (#7145) in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, Intel will offer unique digital home, mobility and gaming experience zones to showcase the convergence between PCs and CE devices; how movies, music and photos can be shared wirelessly will be demonstrated. In the mobility zone, attendees can participate in a high-energy, interactive competition that features the newest notebooks, PDAs and phones. In the gaming zone, attendees can participate in interactive gaming competitions on the latest PCs, PDAs and smart phones.
