Intel Promotes Five Vice Presidents and Elects Six New Corporate Officers

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 18, 2001 -- Intel Corporation today announced it has promoted five corporate vice presidents and elected six new corporate officers.

The vice presidents promoted are Andy D. Bryant, Sean M. Maloney, Sunlin Chou, F. Thomas Dunlap, Jr., and Ronald J. Smith.

Andy D. Bryant has been named executive vice president. Bryant, 50, is also chief financial and enterprise services officer, with responsibility for Intel's financial operations, human resources, information technology and e-Business functions worldwide. He joined Intel in 1981.

Sean M. Maloney has been named executive vice president. He is also director of the Sales and Marketing Group. Maloney, 44, has been with Intel since 1982.

Sunlin Chou, 54, has been named senior vice president. He is also general manager of the Technology and Manufacturing Group, where he co-manages Intel's technology development and manufacturing activities. Chou joined Intel in 1971.

F. Thomas Dunlap, Jr., 49, has been named senior vice president. He is also general counsel and secretary of the company, with responsibility for legal and government affairs. Dunlap joined Intel in 1974.

Ronald J. Smith, 50, has been named senior vice president. He is also general manager of the Wireless Communications and Computing Group, and is responsible for Intel's cellular and wireless communications areas. He joined Intel in 1978.

Corporate Officers
The six new corporate officers are Howard G. Bubb, Douglas F. Busch, Youssef A. El-Mansy, Sandra K. Morris, Pamela L. Pollace and William M. Siu.

Douglas F. Busch is vice president and director of Information Technology. Busch, 47, is responsible for delivering information technology capability to Intel's employees worldwide. Busch joined Intel in 1987.

Youssef A. El-Mansy is vice president and director, Logic Technology Development. El-Mansy, 55, is responsible for managing technology development, the processor design center for the Technology and Manufacturing Group, and a wafer manufacturing facility. He joined Intel in 1979.

Sandra K. Morris is vice president and director of e-Business. She oversees Intel's use of the Internet for e-Business with customers and suppliers, and Intel's internal enterprise business systems. Morris, 46, joined Intel in 1988.

Pamela L. Pollace is vice president and director of Worldwide Marketing Operations. She is responsible for all marketing operations worldwide, including consumer and business marketing, advertising, marketing communications, press relations, the Intel Inside® program, Internet marketing and channel marketing programs. Pollace, 47, has been with Intel since 1987.

William M. Siu, 49, is vice president and general manager of the Desktop Platforms Group. Siu is responsible for Intel's desktop platforms, which include IA-32 microprocessors, chipsets, boards and systems. He joined Intel in 1980.
