Intel today unveiled three concept PCs at its developer forum, providing a glimpse into what future mobile PCs might look like. The concepts include features that enable the always on, always connected vision, include seamless wireless connectivity capabilities, enhanced security, ease of use as well as Tablet PC functionality.

The Executive -- A stylish leather portfolio and convertible Tablet PC in one that includes a handle for easy portability. On the handle there is a small display that can show a calendar, phone numbers or incoming email so the user does not have to open and boot up the system to obtain this information. With Bluetooth* wireless technology or 802.11, the user can access available wireless services anytime, anywhere.

"Flip-top" PC -- A PDA and mobile PC in one. With a connected carrying strap, the PC can go anywhere and with a flip-down, PDA-style screen for note taking, finding phone numbers or receiving directions wirelessly -- all without having to boot up the system. There is also fingerprint recognition biometrics to ensure the system is truly personal.

Wide-screen "convertible" for the media-centric professional -- This sleek concept has a 15" wide screen and the ability to convert into a large tablet PC, allowing natural use, like an electronic pad of paper. On the lid of the system there is an on-edge display that can be easily viewed if the system is in a briefcase. The display can show, incoming emails, contact information as well as the calendar. It also includes fingerprint security.
