Max LeiteDiretor Mundial do Grupo de Plataformas para Mercados Emergentes (EMPG)

Max Leite é Diretor Mundial do time de desenvolvimento de novos negócios para mercados emergentes e trabalha na Intel desde 1997. Ele é responsável pelo desenvolvimento de novos negócios incluindo a área de educação em suporte a novos produtos para mercados emergentes incluindo o Classmate PC. Ele tem responsabilidade mundial e gerencia times baseados na América Latina, África, Estado Unidos, Europa, Ásia e China.

Sua carreira na Intel inclui cargos como Diretor do Centro de Definição de Novas Plataformas para a América Latina, Europa e África, Diretor de Programas de Tecnologia América Latina, Diretor de Produtos América Latina, Gerente de Mundial Desenvolvimento VOIP do Intel Labs, Gerente Mundial de Marketing do Programa ISP e Gerente de Marketing do programa IPI para América Latina.

Antes de iniciar seus trabalhos na Intel, Leite foi co-fundador de uma empresa de distribuição de rede e computadores que incluíam uma infra-estrutura que abrangia Brasil e EUA. O executivo também gerenciou as operações para a América Latina da Stonhard em Monterrey, México. Em 96, foi responsável pelo início das operações da AMD no Brasil e na Argentina.

Leite tem MBA da Universidade do Texas e é formado em Engenharia Industrial pela Universidade de Oklahoma e Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Foi palestrante em importantes eventos, tais como World Conference IT (WCIT), World Summit on Information Society (WSIS), Wireless Communication Association (WCA), Intel Developer Forum, International Telecom Union (ITU), United Nations World Wireless Initiative, Voice on the Net (VON), Supercomm, Institute of Americas, Business Week Latin America Forum, Ibero American Convention on Digital Societies, Telexpo, The Institute of Americas, Comnet, ADIAT Mexico, Brazilian Pay TV Association (ABTA), entre outros.
