Complete the steps on the Intel® vPro™ Technology Brand Verification Tool webpage to verify your system meets the system requirements for eligibility to carry the Intel® Core™2 Processor with vPro™ Technology brand.
- Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor (E6550, E6750, E6850, E8200, E8300, E8400, E8500) or Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor (Q9300, Q9450, Q9550)
- Intel® Q35 Express Chipset with ICH9-DO
- Intel® 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection
- Intel® Active Management Technology Release 3.0 (or
higher) firmware
- A TPM compliant to TCG spec 1.2
- A BIOS that supports Intel® Active Management
Technology, Intel® Virtualization Technology, Intel® Virtualization Technology
for Directed I/O, and Intel® Trusted Execution Technology
One of the following Operating Systems must be present on the system to run
verification:
- Microsoft* Windows* Vista* 32 bit (all versions) with SP1
- Microsoft* Windows* Vista* 64 bit (all versions)
- Microsoft* Windows* XP 32 bit Home and Professional with
no SP, with SP1, SP2, and SP3
- Microsoft* Windows* XP 64 bit with SP1
- Microsoft* Windows* 2000 Professional with SP4
Once a representative system has passed the Brand Verification Tool with one of the above operating systems installed, it can be shipped with a different operating system, as specified below, assuming that all drivers necessary for Intel® Core™2 Processor with vPro™ Technology are provided to the end user:
- No operating system (end user installs Microsoft* or Linux* operating system along with the appropriate drivers)
- DOS (end user installs Microsoft* or Linux* operating system along with the appropriate drivers)
- Redhat* Enterprise Linux Workstation 5.0 (32/64 bits)
- SuSe* Linux Enterprise Desktop 10.1 (32/64 bits)
NOTE: A representative
system is one for which all of the systems represented by that brand, model, or
SKU meet 100% of the system requirements for eligibility to carry the Intel® Core™2 Processor with
vPro™ Technology brand.
