¹ TMPGEnc* is a digital media application used for converting one video format to another. For this test TMPGEnc Xpress* 4.4 is used to convert a high definition video file at 1440x1080 to HDV MPEG2 format at the same resolution. This reduces the file size by approximately 4x (1.2G to 254MB).
