What is In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI)?
We use “in-vehicle infotainment” or “IVI” to describe the integrated in-car entertainment and information system demanded by car-buyers today. Features and applications usually include:
- Rear-seat entertainment (movies, games, TV, social networking, etc)
- Navigation
- Radio/CD
- Location-based services
- Internal connectivity to mobile devices
- External communications
