Intel Capital Invests US$16 Million in e-Commerce across Asia
Intel Capital announced investments in three e-commerce companies in India and Singapore. The announcement was made at 2013 World Economic Forum (WEF)
on East Asia in Myanmar. The investments will help drive innovation in the fast-growing e-commerce and distribution industries in the region.

Intel Capital Fund to Accelerate Human-Like Senses on Computing Devices
Intel Capital announced a $100-million investment fund to accelerate the development of software and applications to bring more compelling, natural and immersive experiences across the spectrum of Intel® architecture platforms.
The Intel Capital Experiences and Perceptual Computing Fund will invest over the next 2-3 years. Areas of software and application investment will include broader touch applications, imaging, gesture, voice and emotion sensing and biometrics, among others.

Intel Capital Named Top Corporate VC
Intel Capital has been named Global Corporate Venturing's Corporate VC Unit of the Year. The award recognized Intel Capital for high investment activity and resulting successful exits in 2012.
In bestowing the award, Global Corporate Venturing specifically called out Intel Capital for its overall steadfast investment pace and global reach, calling it "unrivalled in the corporate venturing community."
