Welcome to the factory in Jerusalem, Israel.
The component manufacturing plant in Jerusalem began producing microprocessors and memory products in 1985 and was the first to manufacture silicon chip semiconductors outside of the USA.

This lobby display features a giant Intel® Inside® logo with models of Intel Jerusalem's range of products. Hundreds of products belonging to various technological generations are manufactured in parallel at the fab. These include: sophisticated controllers for the automotive industry (used for engine controllers and ABS) as well as support components for personal and mobile computers, data communication controllers and so on. In addition, the plant was granted additional responsibility for the development of MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) technologies and products.
