What cool opportunity or project have I had since working at Intel?
I love that it's difficult to mention just one after seven years at Intel. Just in the last year, I got the chance to set the 2008 Intern Experience strategy for over 1200 interns, co-chair a Women at Intel Conference for over 1000 attendees, and recruit and develop top technical recent college graduate talent.
What's so cool about my job?
The fact that I get to work with smart and motivated people every day, work on projects that have a real impact on young talent, and get a variety of projects that keeps it all new is what makes it so cool.
What has my career path been since working at Intel?
I enjoy the fact that Intel is big because I've been able to try out lots of different areas in my short time here. Rotation Engineer > Process Development Engineer > Supplier Commodity Manager > US Intern Program Manager > Rotation Engineers Program Manager.
What do I do when I'm NOT at work?
You'll find me playing sports. These days, you'd find me in the pool, on the tennis court, on the volleyball court, or training for a sprint triathlon. I do also enjoy good quality time relaxing with friends exploring the city. Portland has so many great local restaurant and breweries.
What's the coolest website that I've discovered lately?
I like keeping tabs on www.lifehacker.com. I usually learn a cool new trick whenever I check it out.
If I could live and work abroad for a year, where would I go?
I grew up in Germany and continue to visit my family since being in the US. I would go back to Germany, but this time near Berlin. It's absolutely amazing how far Berlin has come in the last 20 years; it's such an awesome city.
