What's a cool opportunity that I've had while working at Intel?

One of the coolest was going back to the University of Michigan to recruit new engineers for Intel. I love talking to people and getting them excited about the company. And of course it's nice to be back on campus, especially for football weekends.

What's the biggest misconception that I think people have about working at Intel?

Honestly, I think the BIGGEST one is that we only hire computer-y people. That is definitely not true.

What's the most fun experience that I've had while working at Intel?

Probably our sand-castle building contest a few summers ago. Imagine getting almost 100 people out to the beach, organizing into teams, and building sand- castles. There were kids, dogs, barbeques and sand everywhere. It was a great bonding experience for the team.

What do I do when I'm NOT at work?

Running has been my biggest activity lately. I'm currently training for a marathon. I also enjoy yoga and pilates, reading, and hanging out with friends.

If stranded on a desert Island, what are three things that I couldn't live without?

Coffee (would have to be an endless supply), a friend I can tolerate for long periods of time (I would get bored by myself), and a REALLY long book.

What's the coolest gadget that I've bought lately?

Probably my Wii* and Wii Fit*, in particular. I am constantly impressed with the innovation coming out of Nintendo* and am a loyal customer to them.
