What is a cool opportunity that I’ve had while working at Intel?

Using Lean Six Sigma process improvements that required a multicultural task force and gave me opportunity grow as a professional. I love my job, not only for the opportunity to show what I can do and the motivation to show my capabilities, but the people that are around me who every day enrich my capabilities with their experience.

What's the biggest misconception that I think people have about working at Intel?

People tend to believe that Intel is a gray, impersonal workplace, but… it is not! There's a lot of life, interesting people, ideas and different opportunities; it is never a boring place.

Do I participate in any Intel networks or volunteer events?

My entire department actively participates in these types of events; we have had the chance to reach out to several communities, parks, kindergartens and schools. It makes you feel proud to be part of this strong and positive workforce.

What do I do when I'm NOT at work?

Exercise, love outdoors… and running, that's my favorite. Just need a road and that's it—simple! I use my Garmin GPS—love to know how far my legs took me.

If I could live and work abroad for a year, where would I go?

Africa or Asia… the more the cultural difference the greater the learning. I love to discover things that I have nothing in common with… at the beginning.

What's my favorite holiday destination?

It sounds cliché living in Costa Rica… but I love the beach and forests. I also love to travel, but know my country is just amazing.
