"The people make Intel a great place to work."
InterView
What cool project have I had the opportunity to work on at Intel?
I had the opportunity to work on testing of IWantaGreatPC.com; a simple application that helped festival shoppers fine tune and select the right PC to give as a gift to their near and dear ones.
This application would have struck a chord with anybody with its easy-to-use and appealing user interface. It was the first assignment where I did testing completely on my own.
Do I participate in any Intel networks?
I am part of the Speech Club at the Intel India Development Center (IIDC). Every meeting of this club is a learning experience; I get to play various roles and observe and learn from some senior people who are very good at whatever role they take up. The Speech Club is a good opportunity to interact with people across business groups.
What's the most fun experience I've had working at Intel?
This year our group went on a cave exploration as part of the quarterly outing. Almost all of us became children again, shouting and jumping with joy throughout the day!
What do I do when I'm NOT at work?
I love reading; classics, adventures and political non-fiction are favorites. Blogging is another passion. Following the latest societal happenings and listening to music complete this list.
What's the coolest Website that I've discovered?
Wikipedia; the best example of collective wisdom harnessed.
If I could live and work abroad for a year, where would I go?
Anywhere in Russia; Dostoevsky and Chekhov have made me yearn for the place.
