Desktop or Laptop?

So you're thinking about a desktop or a laptop. There are pros and cons to both, so the first thing to figure out is what matters most to you when you're using a computer. Do you want to be able to add memory, and upgrade later on, do you want a larger hard-drive, a larger monitor, or do you want the convenience of taking your computer with you? Desktops can be easily expanded with sound and video cards, while laptops need to contain everything in their case, making them somewhat more difficult to upgrade. But if you're always on the move, the portability and weight of a laptop can't be beat. You don't need to be near an outlet, and accessories like docking stations can provide more ways to expand your laptop's capabilities.
