Intel Hudson is about 30 miles west of Boston, leaving residents within an hour of world-class universities, museums, sporting events and symphony orchestra. This area offers wonderful access to outstanding cultural opportunities: music, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops, Berklee Performance Center and Tanglewood; visual arts, including the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum; architecture, including Beacon Hill and Nantucket; and historic sites, including Lexington, Concord, Salem, the U.S.S. Constitution, Paul Revere's House and the Freedom Trail.

Eastern Massachusetts is home to a diverse population and more than 80 colleges and universities. Many excellent Massachusetts schools are close to Intel's Hudson site.
Popular leisure activities in the area include skiing (downhill and cross-country), boating and running. The Boston Marathon, held once a year, is one of the most popular marathons in the nation. The recent growth of the Hudson area has also spurred the introduction of many outdoor-oriented clubs that can quickly introduce newcomers to the New England area and involve them in a combination of many outdoor recreation activities.
